The idea of sophomore year biochemistry is what finally decided me against becoming a veterinarian, actually. After spending two semesters in which I could have aced Chem 101-102, if I just cared enough, I decided any major that required chemistry of me wasn't worth my time.

That's kind of like me and Math, and why I decided against Computer Science.

Same with me, well that and I didn't care for BYU's CS major.  But anything without Calculus, matrices and liner equations is a good major in my books.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

The most humiliating thing is, I don't even find the material remotely difficult. It's more of a psychotic aversion thing.

I think we all have that one subject. That's kind of like me and Spanish. The complete lack of desire is what makes it hard, not necessarily the subject. Although I do have another theory. I've decided that the speaking of foreign language releases a sedative in the air that affects the brain. Many people are immune to this. I am not.

On another note, every major I considered was a major where I would never have to take a Math class again. Which is how I ended up in Spanish, so perhaps it wasn't such a smart move.  :)

Nooooo. I have to take Spanish to equal the same GE credit that a Math class would be at BYU. And the English major requires that you get up to 202 level in a language class.

And I have had only one major, thank you. Just many emphases/minors.  ;)

I'm not too grumpy today but the neighbor's cows are apparently very grumpy because they've been mooing loudly all night.  All I can think is that werewolves are loose, but the moon isn't full.

What a brilliant philosophy! By this reasoning, I could disprove my whole existence.

I don't want to do math, chemistry, anatomy, physics, biology, or even computers. (This shows I am in the wrong faculty up here. I must have thought that Science was more... not depressing.) I don't consider any of the arts to be major/career-worthy because I don't want my family to starve, much as I love ranting poetry and collecting violin hickies. Any other type of degree that I can imagine is either a joke or immoral or both.

Geh, life is suicide. Why didn't someone talk me out of going to college before I got myself hair-deep in this mess?

See, I didn't get that far.  I figured out it had math and stopped there.

So now I'm doing History, English, and Linguistics.

That is simply not true!  Though, without you, I might not be able to feed my vicious geeky addictions.

Of course it's true! Without me, your nonexistent children wouldn't even begin to think about the luxury of feeding themselves!

I believe I'm the girl here who's had more majors than you, Sprig. If you count a few of the unofficial ones. :) Animal science pre-vet, human development and family studies, photography, back to human development and family studies... then add in the classes in agricultural economics (for the possible ag communications major), family history, and English. Okay, you've still probably had more than me.
