Depends on which old and new No Doubt you mean.

And of course you don't like them.

Yeah, well, yeah. Thats why I listen to TMBG. For whatever reason it is I'm trying to prove.

I used to really like TMBG, but they somehow lost their charm for me after John Henry. Kinda like Wierd AL. Im just not into them any more.

I'm with Jeffe, TMBG were great but I've never listened to anything after John Henery (Space Ghost theme song is the best track).  Wierd Al, on the other hand, is a mixed bag some of his new stuff is still good ,but not like his older stuff.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Jeffe - you REALLY need to buy "No!" then.  I don't know if you've listened to it, but it's an excellent album.

Im not sure if I understand your spurious logic.  ;)

Jeffe: "Im just not into them any more."
Fuzzy: "you REALLY need to buy "No!" then."

What makes "No!" worth buying? Is it silly? Improvizational? Raw seething Anger?

"Mink Car" is also a good one. Very old school TMBG. Getting away from the band thing. Less trying to be hip.

*rolls eyes*

So sorry if my illogic offended you, but I was under the impression that you lost interest because you didn't like their newer stuff.  No!  is good because it's randomly carefree and silly like some of their earlier stuff.

But if it's just that you don't like TMBG at all anymore, then don't worry about it.  I'll arrage to have Saint's ninjas slay you for your traitorous thoughts.

I really like john Henry (e.g. listening to it right now), as well as their older stuff. And their new stuff. One reason I don't have a favorite is because I like all of it. There is nothing that I can say I don't like. My neighbor friend though, he has a different opinion about it, which I am trying to convert. I never knew the inquisition had it so hard at the beginning. Other thoughts to come once remembered or thought up.

I do absolutely adore "Absolutely Bill's Mood." That one gets my ticker in a fancy.
