The one who will bring balance to the Force....

GL has stated that this refers to Anakin's redemption and destroying the Emperor. Which leaves us with one known good Jedi and one with potential.
That aside ;) could he just as easily restored the balance by wiping out the Jedi Order? Just something to amuse your brain. I mean by Ep2 we know something is wrong with the Jedi. Mace says something about admitting their powers are diminished. They don't notice Palpatine under their noses! (Assuming he is Sidious, not a proven fact yet, but that's another thread)

Sith and Dark Jedi are not the same thing. It is possible to be one and not the other. It just happens that in the movies the only Dark Jedi we see are Sith.

The trailer I saw last night had a reviewer quote something to the effect of if you don't like this movie, then you don't like movies.

Those are really nice. I see a few that remind me of ones I would take composition-wise.
Where were the outdoors meadowy ones taken?

You used to be able to find The Shadow online. Actual scans of the original stuff in pdf. But the company that owns them spat out C&D and they've vanished  :-[ Hopefully, they're planning on releasing them again.
Hey the sci-fi book club has Conan! yoink!

Video Games / Re: The Day the Gaming Died.

IMO, gaming 'died' back in the early 90s when real arcades started being replaced by fighting/shooting/driving/dancing games and skeeball. But that's not really the gaming your talking about. :) I don't own any consoles and maybe buy 2-3 pc games a year. I never go into EB, always Best Buy. Can't stand the EB stores, they're too small and poorly organized.
On the flip side, a local toy store got in a Dragon's Lair Special Edition arcade machine (has DL, DL2 and Space Ace!) so I have a new place to watse my lunch hour :)

RTS games are one of my areas of weak knowledge ;)

I would think (hope!) that if it were a terrorist cell, the entire place would have been closed down and processed.
Still it's pretty weird no matter what.

Well, now I have an excuse to check these out. It's one of those "someday I'll get to it" things. I've always loved The Shadow, Phantom, etc but only recently started actually reading about them.
I like my stories like I like my orange juice: lotsa pulp!

Books / Re: So...what's everyone reading?

Just finished "Halloween: What's a Christian to do?" I always get a kick of seeing how Halloween is made to be the Devil's holiday.
Currently reading "Carter Beats the Devil" which is about a stage magician in the 1920s.
Over the summer, I started reading some of the original stories from Doc Samson and The Shadow. Great stuff!
There's no such thing as too much pulp :)

Yeah I always wondered way they put orange/pineapple flavor on the cans if that's the only flavor they have

Probably to let people know what flavor it is in case they've never had it. Sounds like something I'd dig. I likes the pineapple.

But then again, how many two year olds know the proper uses of the words museum and diarrhea?

In the same sentence?
