Yes. The previous avatar was Maleficent in her dragon form, but I think it was too small for anyone to see. I'd still like to crop this one so that maybe Maleficent will be easier to see, but I need to wait until we can afford the student version of Photoshop, which is aproximately 1/3 of the retail price.

Many thanks to Eric who found the pic and posted it on his site so I can use it.

eh, if all you want to do is crop a picture then you can get a demo version of PSP that will do that for free.

Forget perfectionism: go with impatience-ism Photoshop takes WAY too long to load just to crop one little pic.

:) Depends on the speed of your processor. I've never had that problem myself, and I was working on a 3 yo computer. However, that was an old version of Photoshop.

PS will ALWAYS take longer to load than PSP. It's jsut a bigger program.

I have PS 7. It loads perfectly fine and quickly. I would say that they both run at about the same frequency.
