This is only partial grumpiness...You know my camera that broke on me while I was in Europe? Yeah. I decided to try and fix it in the last hour. Took out all the screws, separated the two sides of the cover, took out more screws, and eventually got down to the lens (the part that was broken. The ACTUAL lens wasn't broken, just the metal part that has the zoom features and all that good stuff).
Well. I popped the lens back up into place (it was crooked), and was super-happy, because I thought it was fixed. So I put everything back together, and get some batteries into it, and then turn it on. "Lens error." ARGH!...I now have to twist the stupid lens back up, so the last of the three levels will be back to the normal height (the broken level was the second level, but somehow the camera got busted when it was zoomed in, so every time I turn the camera on (when it works anyway) it zooms BACK in, and then won't turn back on when it gets shut off until it's back to the normal size...It's stupid). Only it won't twist anymore and it's not even close to being the right height.
So yes. I almost fixed my broken camera, but alas, the final step eludes me. I'm so sad. I guess I won't have a camera when I see the Grand Canyon for the first time next week....
