I have my notes taped to my dresser. And the map I made is taped onto my wall, behind the monitors. I've been putting markers on it when I figure out the name of a town on it. Right now there are 9 pieces of paper, of various sizes on it. Hopefully by mid-november it'll be full.

NaNo will take either method as a good way of doing it. I just use the word count feature on Word. For my style of writing, the manuscript format actually comes out as more text. IE, if I do 200 pages of manuscript format, the word count feature will put that as around 55-60 words

I guess using either method makes sense. Prevents having to teach people what manuscript pages are and such, anyway. Over 1k words now. This first scene is taking far too long...probably I'm just having lots of fun writing again.

I'm excited to read some more Prometheus writing. He's very good, provided that NaNoWriMo actually forces him to write twenty different chapters instead of writing the same chapter twenty different times.

I'll let you know when I hit a second chapter Fell. Keep in mind that I *won't* have written it twenty times, though, so maybe not quite as good as my chapters you have read.

I got distracted by less important things. Like school. And sleep. I have tomorrow off though, so I should be able to get going pretty strong with a late night tonight, and a few hours tomorrow.

He could write the same chapter 20 times and claim it was the version of events as told by 20 different characters.

I'm almost done with the first chapter. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. (I actually know what I want to do in chapter 2!)

Congrats, Pro!  Welcome back to the writing life.

As for word counts, I'm going to use MS Word too.  Manuscript is just too vague for me.

Thanks. The file is back at work, but I think I finished today at over 1850 words, with a conclusion to the chapter and some suggestions I left for myself to fix things I don't like later. Now I just need to get someone to password the file so I can't go back to it.

Hmmm, this is no good. Only 529 words today. And I scratched what I had when I first started this at midnight. I just can't seem to get this off the ground.

Today started out well, now I just have to keep reminding myself not to become discouraged if all of my days don't go as well.

Well, finished with 820 words. Not too bad, but not too great. Let's keep working.

Well, I'm going to bow out the day with around 2,800.  Time to hit the gym, then do some homework.
