Yes.  I love Unicode, and I hate when it isn't supported.

So get on top of things, Sprig. =þ

Glad you got it. I forgot to send it the very next day, and I felt really bad. :/ The mail room here closes at 3pm and I'd gotten into a project and forgot to go over there.

I'm going through the same thing this weekend with my ipod--took the charger to work and forgot it there over the weekend. Thankfully, it lasts longer than a phone battery, as far as usage time goes. So I'm saving the rest of the charge for the commute Monday morning.

Can't iPods be charged via USB?  Just about every device I have that can connect to a PC (phone, MP3 player, ect) can.

I don't have the dock, and my firewire cable is with the charger at work. But hooking it up to my computer through the firewire actually drains it. I don't have a USB 2 connection, just the old USB, and that's really slow for synching. Not sure if it drains it or charges it.

It drains a tiny bit while it syncs, but after it's done synching, if you leave it hooked up it continues charging from the computer's power.  Still would be worth it since you have a long night to charge it before tomorrow.

I'm happy because Nintendogs are so freaking cute.

just to clarify ... USB 1 does not charge the ipod, Firewire and USB 2 do. But not USB 1. But firewire will draw a little power while its synching. A total recharge should take about an hour (in theory)

Really?  I could have sworn my usb ports were the old kind because windows whines about how it's not high speed everytime I connect by ipod.

I'm pleased that the weather has finally dropped below 70 degrees, if only temporarily.

WOW...If you have winters there anywhere near as bad as the winters where I am at you would not be saying that.  Last year we had 2 weeks of -20 degree weather....let me tell you that is great fun.

Ya Utah has incredibly mild winters compared to lots of the US, I grew up in Nebraska (3 months of below zero and 90% humidity winters) and it's so different between the two.
