Wait, the real names have a tradition behind them? How so? I don't see any connection between the two.

Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. I'd like to note (probably not the place, but still, I'm behind... so sue me) that WoK has a scene that is going to make it very obvious that the books are related. What exactly the scene consists of, I know not (yet), but I've been told he's been asked to add it. I can't wait for this freaking book!!!!!!

No, actually, Brandon has said that becoming a mb is actually a side effect. What it would actually do, we don't know for sure, but he has flat out told me (and I believe it's on the forums some where) that becoming a mb is a side effect. I could be very wrong, but I SWEAR I heard it somewhere, so unless I get a quote from somewhere else telling me otherwise I'm going to believe it.
Chris, he said that mb would be extremely rare, but not impossible. They're mostly going to become the thing of legends, but they can still exist.

What has been said about TA's is true, but what Rob and Cavin actually do in Brandon's class isn't exactly the same thing. He has them run errands for him, or go to get something he needs, or set up the computer for him. The other thing they do is go around to writing groups that Brandon doesn't go to and give critiques on what needs to be improved in our writing.
Well, they also make random side comments in class and make all of us laugh, but I don't think that's part of the job description.

Also, Konami has a big office building in Vegas. Nice looking place... I always want to stop and go in, but I'm usually in costume, so it might be kind of weird.
