Yeah, I'm ok.  At least the waiting is over; we've had the suspicion that this was coming for over a month and the stress has been getting more and more debilitating.  I'm sad, but I think the crying is over now.  That sounds bad, but... I think it's normal.  Guess I've never been fired before.  I've always prided myself on being such a hard worker and doing my best at whatever job I do that not being wanted is just a real blow to my self-image.

Yeah, crying is definitely normal.  It means you're dealing with it.  Let it all out, girl.  

I'm sure that the reason you've been fired isn't about you.  Even if they think it is.  

I'm glad it wasn't a totally out-of-the-blue thing.
