I've been saving all my things since you left when I lost Ping, in the hopes the phone might ring and it might happen to be you, even just to tell me where to send them to.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

That was Windows 98. We have two desktop computers in our living room--one on a table in the corner (our Windows 98 DI find), and a Pentuim 4 that is hooked up to our 32" flatscreen TV and is nestled in with our DVD player, amplifier, and laserdisc player.

And that was exactly how the DOS command prompt looked when I pinged the site.

I know that it looks like real DOS, but NT4, ME, 2k, and xP use a command shell that looks and acts like Dos, but isn't.

For a minute I was going to retailate on that comment, but then realized you left out the 95 and 98 in there. Those to OS's are DOs, just hidden. But as far as 2k and XP, well you are most certainly right. More of a messed up Unix code.... sort of. Oh Ping!

ME is semi-DOS too, but yeah 95 and 98 are a 32-bit operating shell in a 16-bit OS, with 8-bit value that I wouldn't give 2 bits for.

Well, I just want a bit to eat, but I'd rather not have to byte too hard.

that's good, because to eat a byte, you'd have to have 8 bits. If you only want one bit of food, you'll be ok.

uh, no. A Byte is 8 bits. Word size varies, but byte is always 8 bits. Else, I don't know what I'm talking about.

Half a byte is called a nibble.
