I'm losing my scottish accent. When asked, people now think I come from northern ireland, of all places. Sucks for me. :(
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

I just bought a CD, because I really like a song from it.....the thing that makes me mad is that that song is the only song on the whole CD that I like....there is a waste of $15.

Don't buy pop/punk/rap/rock - really, anything that they play on the radio.

I hope you've learned your lesson.

I listen to DDR music, because J-Pop is good.

It's true that anything anybody likes is no good. You lose indie points if anyone else has heard of your favourite artist. Allow me to demonstrate:

uhm... no. I still think that's stupid. You're still defining your life according to what other people think. If you like Britney Spears, like her. T'heck with what other people like. If you don't like her but want to groove to J Macis and the Fog or the Ataris, then go with that. But not because anyone may or may not have heard of it.

Good point. Those who make a point of never following trends are just as dependent on society as those who make a point of following every trend.

In any case, I'm grumpy because it looks like instead of a free day tomorrow, I'll be working eight hours at my least favourite campus.  Unless someone else takes the shift, which is possible but for some reason I feel is unlikely.

I have had six hours sleep in three days. If I take this, thanks to classes on Friday, I will end up having 10 hours sleep in five days.

All the jobs I find require you to have experience, but you need a job in order to get experience.......anyone seeing a problem with this system?
