I think the day 4 counts are already up, Kije. Good job though.

They can put it on day 5.  It's not like I'm going to write anything tonight.

Oh...babysitting would definitely make it harder to get things written. Hope you can find some time for writing or at least planning your story in the middle of all that. How do you like the way your story is going so far?

Well, I keep thinking each latest chapter is my worst.  But I guess it's turning out okay.

My Day 5 Word Total is 10,000. That wasn't planned, either. Weird.  ;)

I was out until late yesterday, and I'm grappling the onset of carpal tunnel, and I didn't really know what to do with chapter 3, and I just dropped it and got really bummed. I still don't know what to do, but I'm in much better spirits and I'm going to keep going. The "I suck" haikus on the NaNo forums are a big help.

I'm stalling a little too in chapter 3. I just keep telling myself to keep writing. At 8303 right now.

My total as of today: 1412. Yes, that is all-time total. I haven't felt very well this week, so I've been concentrating on reading and getting the articles I need. Mainly administrative stuff. That, and I don't know what else. Really, I have no idea how it got to be Friday without my permission.

Total so far, 8014. I need something cool to happen, because this chapter is pretty dang dull. An explosion isn't a bad idea.

5814 as of today--which puts me less behind today than I was yesterday, so that's progress.  If I had done any research at all or if I would quit going back and rewriting things, that would help.

Ok, way behind with 4642, but I just got through a slow part, and am planning on another thousand today.
