that's a manifestation of what I was saying before. That's MsFish's count from yesterday, which I copied to be the template for today. I fixed the numbers.

Everyone else's word count is accurate. HoM and 42 are still posting only the daily count despite my request for monthly total. Except I may be wrong about HoM, since he restarted. In which case I'll have to refigure his percentages as well. HoM, can you straighten me out on this?

Thanks for the fix. By the way, I figured out what happened with that automatic bulleted list I mentioned earlier. Apparently with my Word, if I start making a list and begin each line with an '*' it starts thinking that I want it to change the asterisks into this perverse bullet-list-item construct-thing. It does the same sort of thing with a few other items, like '...' and '------' and such. Highly annoying.

It does it with a lot of items, actually. You'll want to review your "autocorrect" features. If I'd known you were starting them with *, I coulda told you that. That's where you keep it from using smart quotes too.

I pretty much turn off all autocorrect features except ordinals and dashes. I hate when it automatically corrects my spelling, because I actually know what I'm talking about much more often than it does.

The dashes annoy me more than many other things. dash, Smart quotes, and ellipses. Those are the worst. oh. and the capitalism. I had a short bit I was writing about a group called The Order of Light (TOoL) and it just DID NOT want to let me leave that "o" lower-case.

It's okay, Prom, EUOL beat me too. And Jam, of course, but who cares?

I don't.  :D

Realistically...well, you know my record, Fell. If I keep making the daily goals with actual new material, I'll be doing fantastic.

Hmm, looks like I caused all sorts of problems and didn't even know it.

Dang it!  If I'm going to be the problem child I should at least get to enjoy it.

Yesterday, didn't go well for me, only 567 words (I can give the daily total because it's too late for it to be posted anyway), due to too many errands. Today seems to be better.  I got to a party scene which seems to be as good for me as a battle scene is for Prom.

I'm sorry, that made me think of teenagers in tuxes and gowns swinging claymores. It was the whole parties and prom mixing with battle scene

I have D&D tonight, and I'm the DM.  So, we'll see what happens.  I need to prepare, though.

JUST today? Or total so far? Please tell me total so far. As supportive as I want to be, that will inspire feelings of incompetence in my already tender ego.
