Small Soldiers

Good movie. Was on TBS last night. Funny and shows what I've always wanted out of my childhood. Massive neighborhood chaos from little freaking toys. YeaH! I am all about Larry over here!

The movie was pretty entertaining, but nto what I'd call amazing. Though the sound track was pretty darn impressive.

I'll watch anything starring Phil Hartman, no matter how bad it is, and when you throw in Kirsten Dunst (albeit an overly young one) it only gets better. My question is, how long ago was that movie made, and why hasn't that kid grown up yet? Dunst has gone from potentially cute girl to hot hollywood starlet, whereas that guy ended up on some WB teen angst show and doesn't look a day older. Just shows what puberty will do for you, I guess.

I think the movie came out in 1998/99. And I found the movie disturbing. And that town center that is in a circle at the beginning of the movie? That's my hometown Orange, CA.

Boy... I give my opinion and what do people do, throw it down my throat. Also, I never said it was amazing. I said Good.  And I think Everwood is a rather clever and unimportant task to you "Add-ults." And any other thoughts I had about this topic you can fill those in your eyes/heads/minds/brains.

wow. Some people are too easily offended. I was more agreeing with you than anything else. I wasn't shoving anything down your throat.

Small Soldiers was released in 1998

And whhile I was looking up that tidbit, I was reminded of a question I want to ask. Who the heck wants to see Tom Cruise as a samurai? ick. (ok, no, he's not playing a samurai, though the poster is made up to look that way, i'm just tired of the whole "you guys invented gun powder but now us westerners are going to teach you all about it." It was used up in TMNT3)

Gemm, sorry if I offended you. Didn't mean too.

You're right Saint. I don't want to see that movie. When I first saw the commercials, I was hoping for a dramatization of the MacArthur story (I think that's his name). No such luck.

He's not that bad. I've seen him do some passable acting, a larger spectrum of emotions than other actors in HW I could mention.
