on another note, should we have a standard issue setting for our countries (just the primary account for those of you that have multiple)?  so only 5 days a week or 7 days a week and then one or two issues a day.  Or is this something that dosen't matter one way or another?
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

again, this seems like an unneccessary rule. There is just no reason to control the issues each country has a day.

I had two nations dismiss issues recently. Apparently it didn't change anything.

Here's whats upsetting about my stupid citizens.

The Tylerian Empire has an average income tax of 11%. That's pretty dang low (in the US, the average income tax rate is much closer to 40%, in socialist states it's much higher than that). Yet the issue this morning was a demand to lower taxes. Greedy bastards. I should raise the tax for that.

In the Theocracy of Ehlers, apparently, if kids aren't gambling in casinos they'd be out spraypainting trains (I ignored the urging to outlaw gambling or to specifically approve it for children -- changed my mind, don't want to lose that oppressive status, so I outlawed gambling altogether). (note that the Theocracy of Ehlers is DEAD LAST in the region in terms of liberalism, however, and is ranked 112,587 out of 114,917 nations in the WORLD).

In Free Trade Bask, college students sell kidneys to pay tuition. This is cool.

Spriggan while I understand your desire to add fairness to the simulation.. the number of issues someone deals with is kind of a personal choice. Think of the two issue menu as a Glasnost feature while one or one every weeday could be looked at as a supremely conservative approach.

Im not sure I get the Change in UN status for Transylvana... We just became iron fisted consumerists and I havent had a single economic issue at all.
But I just barcoded everone and said that Euthanasia shouldnt be legal.  How does that make us any more consumerist than we were yesterday.

I dont' think those categories have much to do with anything that's really going on.

It may be that you already had a "consumerist" classification behind the scenes, and the recent changes just bumped you more in the iron-fisted direction.

By the way, I was trying to make Noh a truly anarchist state, but I'm happy to see that we're now a Lovefest. Gotta love that.

It addresses the UN classifications in the info about nationstates as a whole.  I can't remember where exactly, but I remember reading it.

mmmmmmmmmaybe. But That site has some serious problems. WHenever I try to look at anything besides the nation pages or the region page for Procratania it takes forever and half the time won't load at all.

If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)
