Alaska acutaly has one the highest % population wise of LDS.  It's either 2 or 3 depending on what Idaho is.  This isn't total number of mormons, that's probaly California, but total % of the popuation.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

that's curious. As far as representation at BYU, I believe the top 4 are Utah (duh), Idaho (also duh), Virginia, and California (not quite as duh, but up there). Virginia though, where did that come from? Pretty much all the military and government guys who were born in the west but now serve in and around DC. That's why DC had one of the early temples outside of Utah.

Did hobbits really exist? Or perhaps Lilliputians?

Actually, Spriggan, having lived in Alaska, I can honestly say that while it may be true for Anchorage, it certainly isn't true for Alaska in general.

1. Anchorage
2. Spokane, WA
3. Ogden, UT
4. Olympia, WA
5. Carlisle, PA

Also on the list, Provo-Orem; Great Falls; Seattle; SLC; Albany, NY; and (to the great delight of my husband who served his mission there) Rochester, MN.

It's interesting that I didn't get more Alaska towns. Of course, I prefer something a little larger than Fairbanks, but Palmer is very nice. It's about 30 miles outside of Anchorage, hilly, and mostly farmland.

Mmmm. Alaska winters.

I'm just going buy what my mission companion, who was from alaska, said.  He was from fairbanks and he was reading an article his mother had sent him from a local paper about it.

I know the Fairbanks News-Miner. I wouldn't trust it any farther than I can throw a bear.

If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

The funny thing is the GBA version has slighty better graphics. Never fails to amaze me how far we've come since Pong.

Oh no, what happened to the other link Entropy? Was it too deranged for everyone else?

I laugh. Like the Secret Service have nothing better to do.

I actually have no problem whatsoever with the Secret Service handling that the way they did.

See, it's not all that uncommon.  In the paper about a month ago a kid (about 18 yrs) here in Utah got a visit from the Secret Service because he had a bumper sticker that read "King George -- Off with his head", and a pic of Bush.

They just cover all their bases.  If that person with the blog ended up actually trying something, and they'd received a tip about it beforehand, they'd be in a whole lot of hot water.  It's nothing out of the ordinary.

(Granted, they could have been making the visit up...)
