having driven through all the midwest states, most of them multiple times, I can swear to you that Oklahoma is the worst to drive through.

Most places are boring when you live there.

Acutaly I just realised I worded that wrong.

What I ment to say is:

Yes thing appear to be boreing just becasue you live there, but Utah is boreing no matter what.

Unless you like camping/hikeing that is, though March isn't ideal weather for that.

Way off the map,  But I always enjoyed the Swamp-ways of Central Georgia....  Where they are STILL waiting for Reconstruction, and the mention of "Sherman" will get you a beat-down on a rough-wood bar floor.

Cross country driving (OFF the interstates) Is a GREAT way to remind yourself how diverse and great the country is.  My Patriotism always gets a boost from Long distance drives....
Alles!!!

I'm rather amused that no one has nominated Nebraska for "Most Boring to Drive Through"

But Nebraska has Scott's Bluff--which I think is one of the most beautiful spots in the entire country (and I think I'm well traveled enough in this country to recognize those! ;) ).

You've got the bright blue sky against the bright green grass (or the bright green corn stalks) and this giant rocky bluff. Absolutely gorgeous--at least in the spring/early summer, which is when I was there.:)

That's because Nebraska is actually less boring than kansas, Oklahoma, and the Dakotas.
