If you were able to play more games on Linux, then I'd use it without hesitation and never look back.  As it is, I stick to Windows XP, being a gamer.  I despise macs... remember how the Emacs were being advertised as Supercomputers? Well, on a standard one of those, running OS X, it took *5* minutes to get to the login screen, which it had to page to allow you to type it in, then another five to login.  Give me a PC (which is nice and easy to customise hardware and software wise) anyday.

Is your subtitle from the Principa Discordia, Xaio? It's word for word correct :)
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Only on a Mac (I think it was an eMac, but am not sure) can you have an error like "Not enough memory to" eject a disk.

This happened to me once.

That use to be a big mac problem years ago, back in High School it wasn't uncommon to have to manually eject disks

Since the change to to the new OS design in the late 90s I've had no real problems with Macs since that OS fixed the majority of the problems that Macs use to have (their old OS was actually 4 different programs running at the same time which caused a lot of memory errors and crashing).  I just use my PC for both design and gaming so a mac dosen't suite me.

I'm not oblivious, I'm just upset they stole the name.

Besides, that computer is an eMac, not emacs. Emacs is a text editor.

And the plural of eMac is eMacs, honestly why do you always argue these stupid and pointless issues?

I must say that with the new OS for Macs (OS X) they look and feel a lot nicer.....I am still a PC guy, but I wouldn't mined owning a new Mac, as long as I still had a good PC too

If nothing else, you can install Darwin. There's an i386 compile of that. It's like Open Source Mac OS X
