Movies and TV / Re: Star Wars the TV show

The Tales of the Jedi comic is still one of my favorite EU SW stories ever. They could definately do a great on-going Old Republic series with all original characters.
I'd love to see something Clone Wars or Rebellion era a la Band of Brothers where any of the "mains" would be expendable. But that maybe getting a bit too away from the serial feel.

Haven't hit the toy stores in a few weeks, have to check it out. Sounds like my kinda thing.
Board Game Geek has a good write-up of the game as well as some house rules, including conversion for Star Wars minis!
The Hasbro site is a bit empty but has 2 internet exclusive scenarios.

I'm gonna go all out fanboy with Star Wars Battlegrounds :)
I may check out Sims 2 but won't really have time for it with my nightly crime fighting ;)

Their main beef with capes was they wanted them to flow correctly. I think it says in the article that there are half-length capes as well that just cover your butt.
I can understand wanting to reserve them as a status of level thing but you can't really design a new character with a cape in mind without seeing how it looks. Then when you do get a cape you'll probably redesign your whole suit around it. Or maybe that's just me :)
Capt. Blaze is still holding out for a jetpack...

Mr_Pleasington: Have you read any other books by the author of Wicked? I recently finished Lost which was really good. Not at all what I thought it was going to be from the jacket blurb. Still need to get to Mirror, Mirror and Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister.

I'll be starting my hunt for Halloween antholgies/books soon, that's always something to look forward to!
While not "new" I'm still itching to read Shadows over Baker Street. (Cthulhu meets Holmes)

Well, I can't say much about Wizard, since it's my fave book. But I don't see how it could not be published today in this post Harry Potter/LOTR movie world ;)

IMO, they should stick with animation, tho that may be a hard sell in prime time even for Star Wars. But the Clone Wars series did pick up an Emmy ;)
They could do post-RotJ with the main characters, even getting most of them for voice work. Or even something between ANH and ESB, there's 3 years to play with give or take.

An Art Deco fantasia imagined by a gadget-obsessed 12-year-old
And this is bad...how? Sounds good to me ;D I never listen to critics.
Who wouldn't want to get paid to watch movies? The only better job is weatherperson where you can screw up and still get paid.

ok, official request? Stop taking the Lord's name in vain even in the quote? We all know Gabe and Tycho cuss, you don't have to repeat it here.

I know it's still on, but what ever happened to Sesame Street? When I was growing up it was that, Mr Rogers and Zoom and I was good. None of this freak-o drug inspired trippy stuff.
