Hero Creation is GREAT!
I dont know HOW MANY diffrent concepts I went through

The First 10-20 levels are fun.... But then you realise that EVERY mission is basicly the same, and there is very lottle to collect in the way of "phat lewt"

The key with Monster is that it is ADVERTISING

Post your resume in a way that will catch eyes and show up in searches

Do NOT title your resume with conventional Titles... Title it in a way where a search is likely to pull it
LAN, Help Desk, Win 2K, XP, NT, 9x, Linux, Network, Hardware, IP
Is the Title of ONE of my MONSTER Listings.
I say ONE of, because you can have as many Monster postings as you have E-mail addresses.  And I have a TON of listings.

Also, Focus on your strong suit and omitt the weakness.  If you didnt finish your degree,  Skip Education completly on your resume... concentrate on experience

Very valuble advice I got was to Edit/update your Monster postings EVERY day!  Dont need to make a change, just click "edit" and "save" each day so that the Monster search engine registers your resume as "new in the last 24 hours"

Due to the Massive number of resumes, many HR folk will filter JUST the last 24 hours... Stay in that que and you will always be seen

MOST IMPORTANTLY, Your Job-hunt is your Job, Set a start and end time for Job-hunting and do it for 8 hours.  If you work hard on finding employment from 9-5 every day,  It may only be a matter of weeks AND you will still be "in the groove" when you go back to work.

12 Years and Jeffe is still matchmaking....

At least he has learned subtlety...  He used to just manuver the couple into a situation where you HAD to ask the other person out.

A Matchmaker Check-mate

I know because I have been asked to stay longer 2x now...

And They need someone who is good at Networking, Network security, Server Configuration, Macintosh, PC, Software and Hardware....

Unfortunatly, whoever comes in is gonna hit running as this place is SWAMPED with work...  So I would say that experience is more valued than certs

I'm not sure I Caught all that......
I never knew you wrestled Jeffe

Getting attacked by Pirates in the Pacific would just be an opportunity to get a bigger ship

The website looks fine and could use an update

The Mongol Horde could hoard approx 4,428,326 based on 2x4 8' in length, The expanse of the Mongol empire, the manpower of the "horde" and the approx foilage of the time period.  This figure is variable based on how bored the horde would be

I never call Jeffe at work because that awnsering machine scares me and I imagine Black-helocopters hovering over me each time I call.... Least I never call w/o my Tin-foil hat on

Bah!
I made some really good Foreman-Grilled Chicken a couple nights ago... But I wasn't paying attention while I was MacGyvering... So I have NO idea what was in it besides some soysauce, some red wine, some one-step seasoning... and then a bunch of stuff off my spice rack.....

BTW, for those quick-meals, I LOVE those frozen bags of individual chicken breasts... They may not be the best alone, but that just motivates one to improvise.....

I don't know what I am having for Dinner tonight,  But I think I'll pull out the Wok and see what happens

I have the problem with the Used book store arround the corner from me.
It's huge!  A larger Library than Boarders,  Shelves to the ceiling and Blessed DUST (I love a book store with dusty shelves)
Anyway, I can't go in there anymore cause I'll go to a section, start at AA and grab everything off the shelf I find intresting....
So, now I have a stack of unread books a Mile high and other books on the stack that I had been working my through already!
I have TOO MUCH to read (Or not enough time)
