Summer Trip!
« on: March 26, 2007, 01:54:05 PM »
So, I'm looking to plan a summer trip to Utah sometime and am looking for a good week when most of ya'll will be around and/or somewhere. So post your thoughts and vagrancies here. Let me know what you think.

EUOL suggested aroun dthe 24th of July for Pioneer Day, wherein we could do some bbq and stuffs. Or possibly some other time to hit southern Utah for hikings.

24th is a good time since a lot of people get that day off from work and you can blow stuff up with fireworks (always a plus) though if others are visiting Utah at a certain time it might be good to plan around then (don't know if SE or Stacer are or not) so we can have an even bigger party.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I don't plan on being in Utah this summer, but who knows. My summer plans so far involve ALA annual at the end of June in D.C. and hopefully a trip home to Illinois to see family. Oh, and I'll be at GenCon Indy this year in mid-August. And possibly a trip to Boston at the end of July for a Simmons thing. So I might be kind of full up on trips this summer.

I'm not sure when I'll be going to Utah. It won't be too long. I want to see my grampa before he goes. If I were to plan it around something, it'd be Brandon's signing/pre-release. (I've seen Gemm since I've seen Brandon). Though I doubt my trip will be that convenient.

I'm going to be in Puerto Rico the last week of June/first week of July, so SE and Gemm had better not come that week! Otherwise my summer is looking to be pretty tame.

I desperately hope to be living in Seattle by summer, so I won't be here. Ha ha!

Seattle? I am going there for the first time this summer, then for a drive along the Pacific coast highway in a long run home. I am kinda excited for that.

I am also going to Chicago this week and Moab next week.

I never get to stay put.
