So how many of you locals are going to be around for New Years Eve?  If there are enough of us we can get together at the Cotten Tree like we did 2 years ago.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I will be, and I'd certainly be up for a nerd party on New Year's Eve.

Sounds like a good idea to me, though I can't guarantee anything until I talk to my wife. And find a babysitter.

On a similar note, I'm in the mood for some Magic, having just HTML-ized another one of Prometheus' articles. What do you say we show up early for D&D tonight and play a game or two? Make sure to let Prometheus know, and anyone else (such as Kije) is free to come as well.

I haven't seen Kije in an eternity!  I hope he reads the thread and decides to stop by.

Vermin. I guess this is what comes of not getting home till nearly 7 PM. I'll likely be around at New Year's, more 'cause I don't have anywhere to go, but hey...there is there.

Ok a little more info on the NewYears eve Party.

At the cottentree
probaly starting around 8-9 (if you want to start ealier for some reason let me know)
we'll order food from the Pizza factory useing my discount.

The people that have showen intrest in comming are

me
Steve (my old roomate, some of you know him)
Fell
Tage
micha

I'm assumeing my rommates 42 and Promethious will be there to.

anyone else? Fuzzy and Brenna? Kije?

We'll be watching movies and playing games.  Steve just bought the Civilization board game (based of the VG) and it looks fun, the game baord is huge.  And I;m sure we can get Fell to bring his new Axies and Allies game (if he has it by then).  I'll being my Mage Knight 2.0 figs.  I'm sure there will be plenty of MTG going on as well, however it wont be a booster draft so bring your own cards.

So if you're thinking or planning on comming and have a game you'd want to bring/play list it here too plz.

I'd like to come but we'll still be in Ohio.  Kinda bummed, because it would be nice to have a NYE party that J.T. and I *both* enjoy, since our ideas of the term "party" are surprisingly different.

Just a note, Sprig:  Earl is throwing a big Christmas party at our house, and last I heard, Tage and Micah were being tempted away from the Cottontree to join in the festivities here.

Whoops.  I meant New Years party.

Anyway, I'm on my way to the gym, Sprig, if you want to come.

I so want to be there...

Alas, I married outside the faith.  That is to say, my wife doesn't like games.  Not even party games or social games.  And I don't think I could convince her that she needed to come play with all of us, or that she should go somewhere else while I play at the "nerd party" as Tage so lovingly put it.  Alas...
