Move to Bend, Oregon, so you can live in the Shire neighborhood. Models open now!

Tempting, but for those prices, I could literally buy a mansion in the town I'm living in.  Seriously.  20 bedrooms, indoor olympic sized swimming pool, the works.  I saw it was for sale in the paper last month. $600,000

Yes, well jobs do tend to be the problem. I mean maybe Archway Cookies wants a computer programmer, but somehow I doubt it.

Has anyone considered moving to Idaho recently?

This house sound's like a real bargain, and it comes with pets.

I hoping that the house that I bought today doesn't have these kinds of problems.

I don't know if they're still still making new episodes, but it sounds like a good place to hold the second challenge of a Fear Factor episode. If I were them, I would definitely try to capitalize on the situation (and make lemons into lemonade, so to speak).

Ok. OKOKOKOKOKOK! I've been given something really awesome. So awesome infact that you need to have firefox installed, and do a little tweaking yourself.

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions_-_Firefox

This extension must be downloaded and put into your firefox extension's folder for it to work. Now, WHAT IS IT? you ask.

Well, it's the Secret Word extension. Each day there's a new secret word, and every time you find it on a website you'll get a fun little surprise. You can also check your options to see what todays secret word is as well.

Yes, this is from Pee Wee's Playhouse.

So scream!

Obviously she is using some crappy server from way out in parts out of earth's orbit. Quite possibly on the moon, or maybe even Saturn. It does take much too long to load some of these pages. And the layout is rather... drab, even for off-worlders.

Their primary sense isn't sight. In fact, it's something that Earthlings haven't developed yet. The lag is from their server trying to translate it into something we can see or hear, and failing miserably.

Find and name the 'dark' movies in the picture.

www.freeconferencecall.com

This is a free service that gives you a number you can use for conference calls. You have to pay normal long distance charges (but so many people have free long distance, that is negligible).  And I know most of you don't have a business where you'd need to have a conference call, per se, but I was thinking how nice it would be if you just wanted to have a call with multiple members of your family so you could all catch up at once. And people can come on to the call or leave the call whenever they want without causing a disruption with other people on the call. I just think it's cool!

And I've personally used the service and I thought it worked as should (i.e. no connection errors or not being able to hear people).

in other news, they stole my teleportation technology! Fortunately I managed to locate and kill the leak before he could spread more details, and i'll still have teleportation advantage for years, at least.

Line Rider!
This is a very simple yet addicting flash game where you draw lines and then a guy with a scarf on a sled slides down them. I spent hours last night trying to get loops to work (and eventually succeeding).

People have also made lots of youtube videos from it. Cool one, funny one. There are lots of others as well. Ooh, another very cool one! Another funny one!
