Do we have a designated thread for "interesting news stories"?

Today's theme is Art and Crime:

Stolen Edvard Munch paintings found:

Thomas Kincaide under investigation by FBI:

We probably should. Then instead of having a new topic each time one of us wants to comment on an interesting news story, we'd have a big long conglomerate thread. Which has its pros and cons--but more pros, I think.

But then again this isn't FARK Jr.  If you want to discuss having one make a new thread, this thread isn't the place for such a discussion.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I give you Star Trek Inspirational Posters.

I was doubtful at first, i mean, another inspirational poster spoof? But they're all TOS cast, and some of them are quite funny

(Warning, several, but not nearly all, contain sexual inuendo)
(and out the other)

UK artist Banksy and DJ Dangermouse remix Paris Hilton's new album then sneak 500 copies into stores around the UK.

Head of Virgin says it's a pretty good stunt. I think this proves the Brits have a better sense of humor than we do.  Pardon, humour.

Because Stargate was just too complicated the producers went and made an education version:

Hey, that's Luke Ski's song. I have that CD.  He's great in concert if you ever get to see him.

I'm wavering between the cool and disturbing thread. Because it made me laugh, I settled on the cool.

Here's a sentence that needs to be written into someone's short story then sent to TLE.

Buffalo
The Folly of youth is to think that intelligence is a subsitute for experience. The folly of age is to think that experience is a subsitute for intelligence.
