So, anyone read chapters 12 & 13 yet? Anyone who doesn't have the ARC, I mean. The newest preview on Tor.com.

Ooh! (goes searching frantically for new SA info)

Begining of 13 was awesome.

I was initially dissapointed to not be reading more of Kaladin, but the dissapointment soon wore off.

I think Dalinar has the best chapters in the book, because they feel the most important to the bigger picture.

But Kaladin is the true bearded one.... :p (props to anyone who gets the reference)

The fight scene was done very well, also nice to gain some insight into the big picture.

The new chapters are really nice, love the new characters and I'm curious now, can you repair shardplate?

The topic of damaged shardplate is discussed in the book.

That was something I'd pondered as well, considering that the suits are irreplacable and that they didn't seem to despair over it's damage I'd assumed that there must be a way to repair it.

The repairing of plate and blades is specifically mentioned in the book.

The gorgeous, gorgeous book.

It's all about location. I live in California so I am the farthest away from Tor without leaving the continental US. HURRY UP!

I had a release copy, not an ARC. Apparently my online store broke the street date =/

I live in Canada (Edmonton, actually), and I bought my copy from the local Indigo yesterday.  Just sitting right there on the shelf, a week before the release date.  Needless to say I was surprised and overjoyed.  Gotta love bookstores who just stock the shelves as soon as they get something....
