Kelsier has long, kinda messy hair, he's skinny but muscular.  With black eyes and a mischievous smile.

You know who kinda looks like what I'm thinking?  Paul McGann.  But with slightly darker hair.  And maybe a bit thinner.
When to live is to die, and to die is to live, does either really matter?

If he didn't annoy me, I'd say yes.  Definitely.
I don't know why, but watching Lost, Sawyer always got on my nerves.  Always,

Was it the southern accent or the fact that he's kind of a jerk?

then I have the perfect solution for everyone:

Kelsier - Will Farrel
Elend - Seth Rogen
Sazed - Jonah Hill
Spook - Michael Cera
Breeze - Jack Black
Ham - Peter Molynieux
Dockson - Adam Sandler

Vin - Someone Seth Rogen shouldn't have a chance with.

A Judd Apatow film.

EDIT: Did I say Peter Molyneux? I meant Kevin James.

Please.  No.
Michael Cera could concievable be Spook, but he'd only work for book one, and I doubt he could pull of the dialect (as much as I love him).
That being said, I'm pretty sure (at least I hope) you are joking, so...
haha.

Okay I hope you're joking too.  Jack Black?  This is supposed to be a (mostly) serious movie!

also, Kristen Stewart? I'm pretty sure Vin has emotions at one point or another. And like...expresses them. srsly.

All in all that cast seems really young.

unless you ARE joking - I can't tell...

Okay, ill give u jack black... maybe even ryan reynolds... I was just thinkng that he had kelsiers sense of humor.. and elend isn't THAT much older than vin... they could probably get keira knightley(spelling) to play vin.. I just couldn't think of a good fit for breeze.. maybe the bad guy from mission impossible three? The fat guy.. idk.. and I was thinking clubs could be mickey rourke.. I can't get'The Wrestler' out of my mind for this one.. but everyone else seems fitting..

(Commenting on the earlier post about rober downey jr.) Does anyone in here believe that he will look right with blonde hair? From my understanding, kelsier is blonde.. oh and as for marsh, I was thinking about the guy who played wolverine's brother in xmen origins... he's really evil..

Blonde hair is the sort of detail I wouldn't care is overlooked in order to get Kelsier's personality correct.

The swagger fits, but RDJ seems a little old..
