I don't do tounement's so much.  I have been in street fights were I HAD to break my opponent, though.  Does that count?

Incidentally, on the weekend I went down to Bulladelah (about 1.5 hours north of sydney) and spent one day training with Sensei Sumi, the head of our style (shotukan karate) and then attempted and succeeded in grading to my black belt.  So I'm still on a high on that :D

Yeah, I have seen 'em.  They are insane.  The only difference is a) there are rules, however little, in tournaments and b) there is only one opponent at a time in a tournement and c) Your opponents aren't armed in tourneyments... but in reality they basically are the same thing with pads

in tesasu you can shoose to be armed or not(your opponent also chooses) and there are no pads, you DO wear shoes and a chain around your strong hand

This sounds like street-fighting with no rules, not martial arts....

well it was invented by the orange irish(scotts who were relocated to ireland) what did you think it would be like
It's highly refined and expanded street fighting, all the moves can easily transition into each other and none of them are complicated, the real challenge is how fast you can move how many hits you can take and how hard you can kick someone in the head than throw them at the ground.
