Petiton for Brandon to do a Wheel of Time Question of the Week
« on: December 03, 2009, 03:16:39 PM »
I have loved reading the transcriptions on dragonmount.com forums of the questions and answers brandon did on the gathering storm book tour about the wheel of time.  See here (warning: contains wheel of time spoilers of course): http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/board,278.0.html

It reminded me of when Robert Jordan used to do "questions of the week".  These were great and gave awesome new insight into the Wheel of Time.   I eagerly awaited the new question and its answer every week.

Here's an archive of Wheel of time questions of the week for the curious:

Please post here if you'd like Brandon to answer a wheel of time question of the week on his blog or website.  I'd love to see it.

This is an excellent idea since Brandon is so forthcoming in speaking with his fandom. So I would love if he answered a question of the week and a question that didn't get a RAFO.

I vote yes for question of the week!

Would certainly be pretty cool, so long as Bradon's got the time for it. :)

If he can do it, it would be awesome.

I say that it's an awesome idea to get that back up and running, but rather then bogging Brandon down with even more things, why not have it come back up and have Herret or someone else answering those questions?  It's still team Jordon (heck, it's an even more offical source) but then it's not going to slow down the writing.
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"

I'm with HolidayBread.  I'm less in favor of a Wheel of Time Question of the Week feature than I am a Wheel of Time Book of the Year feature.
