While I could understand you being excited if a swedish woman was given to you, I am confused as to why a fish from sweden (which has much the same fish as Britain to the best of my knowledge) is so interesting.

Cultural glitch?  Swedish fish are a tasty gummi candy, shaped like red fish.   Very very tasty.

I don't know if this is where swedish fish are from, but there is a city called Malaco in Mozambique.  (Which is also where John Kerry's weird wife is from.)
