You agree, through your use of this YaBB forum, that you will not post any material which is false, [...]

So, how many of you should be banned?  ;)  And remember, you can't lie anymore!

So is that a selective lie, or a selective truth?

I just thought it was humorous that a forum directed to fiction writers, which by definition is information that is technically false, had that as the first 'rule.'  But, then again, I'm sure there are a million ways someone could spin the word or concept of 'false' information.

It's probably to make sure that hey can ban anyone that tries a con or something like that. I haven't seen any bots in my time here, but those often post false and bizarre "information".

Well, Bastille, if you lied once, why not do it again?

In this case it should be. If I had never seen a piece of fruit before, and some idiot told me grapes were blue, how is it my fault I believed him?

That's very true Shaggy.
But if info on here is false and someone else knew it was false and knew the true answer then they would correct the false person.
In this case they would tell the idiot that that grapes were not blue they are green or purple.
