Because we're not dictators. We believe in fairness and equality and Jade didn't get the same amount of time on the poll as the other candidates....Plus, some people had already voted when Jade put himself on the poll, and they couldn't change ther votes if for some reason they wanted to vote for him.

Fairness and equality wins in the end. Unlike pie's poll-runner's dictatorship.

In terms of number two, dictatorships can include fairness and equality. Even (in certain circumstances) NOT in number two.

That's the way of it. You can always remove your vote (hence the Remove Vote button) and vote for a new candidate if you like.

Fairness and equality does not always win in the end. For instance, if I were to assassinate Jade after he had won the election, Inquisitor would become ruler. Is that fair? No. But it could happen.

Um. There IS no "Remove Vote" button. There wasn't before, and there isn't now. That's something that the creator of the poll has to choose to make available, and Bastille didn't (which is good).

Ah, but this isn't a "crisis" per se. We're not battling anything out (Plus, we're not ancient Romans. Gosh...

). We're voting democratically. And you took out the democracy of it by choosing, simply because you didn't like Jade winning your poll and that you didn't put him there, to remove a candidate. THIS is what makes you a dictator. You asked for no one's advice--not even those of pie, with which Jade is affiliated.

Tsk, tsk. It is sad that you are blinded by your dictatorial leanings. But I suppose we of the Cake could expect nothing less of one of the Pie.

What's was applicable before can be applicable now. It's a definition, and even if it's archaic, it can still be used.

Those weren't my reasons. Someone who is running for two offices should not be allowed either.

And, frankly, this whole conversation is stupid, because no matter what you think, no matter what you say, I will still do what I want regardless of you or your petty accusations.

Anyway, I wasn't seriously accusing you of being a dictator, although I do think it was stupid to take him off, since it's not like this campaign/poll thing actually MEANS anything. And for that same reason, it would be stupid to get in a fight over it and name-call.
