Where is everybody?
« on: September 11, 2004, 11:14:55 PM »
Here I am, all by my lonesome. It's a nice, lazy weekend evening at home. I took a nap this afternoon and didn't go out tonight, so I look who's on--nobody but me.

Argh, I should be reading.

I don't like saturdays when I work, because it screws up my week.  Yesterday felt like Saturday and today feels like Friday, and then Sunday just showing up out of the blue confuses me.

But starting Monday I'm moving to swing shift at work!!!  1:30 to 10pm - I WON'T BE SLEEP DEPRIVED ANYMORE!

I'm so happy about this I could cry.

Talk about confused about what day it is. Naps on Saturday are weird. I kept half-waking and couldn't figure out what day it was--was it Sunday morning? Was it Friday? I never did hit on Saturday evening till I really woke up.

Weekends really are slow around here.  A lot of people--like SE and Tage--check the boards at work, I think.

I hang out for chunks of Saturday too. I just don't have anyone else's creativity to feed off of.

Yeah, I normally check the boards at work, too. I've been on a *lot* more since I started working full time. I think I'm going to be fading back again starting next week--won't have a computer in front of me 8 to 10 hours a day. And it was a slow Saturday night. I was bored.

I'm too busy at work to check the board...never really crosses my mind.

I can't check the board at work if I want to keep my job.  Which I do.

well, I'm checking now because Alexis was supposed to get out his meeting at 3:30 and we were going to drive to Kinokuniya. I budgeted my work to last until 3:30 and it did, but now his meeting's still going (4:20 now) and I'm sitting here with nothing left to do.  :(
