Space Text Opera time!

Which gets me thinking. Why don't we just append "Opera" to any genre to signify epicness? Steam(/Cyber) Opera. Sword and Opera (should that be Opera and Sorcery?). Urban Opera. I foresee problems with this, but we should run with it like it's a stolen croissant.

Which makes me think of other French baked goods. Notably eclairs and the excellent pie that was lent the name.

That's actually pretty clever. Definitely got a chuckle out of me...And speaking of French baked goods, I miss Pain au Chocolat's...They were delicious.

The rant is going on a short hiatus. Short stories take precedence!

Once upon a time there was a nice bloke called Chaos. On one fine day, he decided to rant. He didn't actually get to ranting because he met an evil lady named Order. She locked him in a tower and made him write short stories until his brains self-cooked. The end.

Wow. That's a pleasant story....I particularly like the vivid imagery of the self-cooked brains... :o

And he's not the only one stuck on short stories. I am too....Stupid things. I think I spent so much time editing my first short this week, that when I turned to the second today, it just didn't fly.  My brain hit a wall. It was fun....Not. I'm now convinced that my brains self-cooked. Temporarily. Maybe...They're all better now though. :P

Naw, not pounds sterling. Zombie currency has to be something creepier than that. Unfortunately, I have no "pounds human flesh" button on my keyboard, so I had to make do. The question is, how do they carry it around?

Looks like a flower too.
Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I had a very good cake last week, but it just didn't measure up with the Nu-freaking-tella and Cherry cheesecake I just had.
