12 books; 17 hours though i only get 16 credit hours due to a b.s. mandatory rhetoric 1101 which is 2 hours but i only get 1 hour of credit; 110.75 for a softback genetics textbook used!

Classes
Mon, Wed- Rhet 1101
Mon, Wed, Fri- Exploration of the Arts, History (spanish colonies to reconstruction), and Applied Calculus
Tue, Thur- Genetics, Business Public Law

I weep for you. With notoriously expensive calculus books and classes with so many books, I seriously weep for you. Not fun.

You know what else isn't fun? An ankle sprain!

Second week of class and I still don't even know exactly what my class schedule looks like.

Running around in circles to (try to) get things straightened out. Augh.

One of my best friends from high school's husband died over the weekend. I've never gone to a funeral for someone my own age before.

I took my laptop into the computer help desk here on campus. They had me leave it with them. Then they called me about 3 hours later and told me they would have to wipe it....Fortunately, they're going to back up the few folders that I really need, but it still sucks that in order to clean the malware and crap off the drive they have to completely reformat it...I hate my computer.

I just spent twenty minutes trying to add funds to my cell phone. And no, I was not ultimately successful. Grr.

You can *add funds* to your cell phone? Where are you, Japan?

(Japanese phones can function like credit cards.)

Yes, Japan.

No, I use a pay-as-you-go plan, so I just buy a prepaid card with X amount of money that's good for X amount of time.  Or usually I do. I haven't had a chance to actually get out and buy one lately, so I'm stuck trying to add funds via credit card, which isn't working. Useless piece of crap. -.-

Oh, heh, yeah, of course. Remember that I'm a programmer; we're a little daft at natural language processing so you have to speak very literally to make us understand. You said "add money to my phone" and I thought you were storing money in the phone somehow (like they do in Japan). ;)

Silk, try going to website.  I had a pre-paid phone for a while, and I remember that you could use the cards (which gave you a code to enter on your phone), or you could pay online.

You know you haven't worked out in too long when you, like John McCaine, have problems lifting your arms above shoulder height. Seriously i had to get milk off the top shelf and had to grit my teeth due to Monday's work out.

Today was my hubby and I's three year anniversary.  It wasn't disastrous, but it wasn't all that great either.  More "ho-hum" than anything else. :P
