One of the cars needs a new fuel pump (we think- we don't know yet).  It looks like we'll be paying rent extremely late this month.  Again.

Silk maybe you should switch to a horn or marimba. :)
Then finger length wouldn't count so much.
You can always get what you want if you never count the cost.

I play horn too (trombone). But for the vast majority of instruments I play require fingers, and I don't particularly want to give any of them up. :P

I'm with you, Silk....Not that I play a lot of instruments. All I got is the piano, but with my small hands, I can barely hit an octave. There are some songs where my hand is in serious pain by the end because of how much I've stretched it....Yet I wouldn't give the piano up for anything. So much fun.

Grumpiness: I was going to go to a concert in Pocatello on the 19th. The band was Making April, my favorite band. They just announced on their blog that the tour is canceled, and the whole band is now on hiatus. And from how it sounded, it doesn't seem like they'll be getting back together.

I never got to see them play live. It's very disappointing.

Having a noticeable tinnitus day. Which is frustrating, since I haven't been noticing it during the day for months. (Still notice when going to bed at night, but not for long.)

Dang Kaz, that's obscene. I think my record is $400. This semester I got away for under $300, and here I am whining about it. Perspective is everything I suppose.

Uh... $700 for textbooks? There's no freaking way I would pay that. Unless one of them included a free copy of Adobe Creative Suite or something.

I wouldn't pay that much either. I'd find them online for much cheaper....Fortunately, this semester I don't think I have a whole lot of books to get. Especially if I get into those 2 German classes. One book for both, and I already have it...

No, my deal isn't the books. One of my classes charged me an extra $100, since there's field trips for it....I understand field trip charges, but $100? I can barely afford tuition as it is....

At my elder brother's suggestion, I began using www.abebooks.com this semester. I got a $120 Physics book for $70, though that was used. However, a lot of the stock they have are international editions of the exact same book. I got my Differential Equations book for much cheaper as an international edition.

Lordy, Kaz, how many books did you need to buy, and how many credits are you taking? Even when I was in my honors seminar, where I needed to purchase about nine books, it never got that bad.

My book hasn't revised itself yet. Why hasn't it magically revised itself yet? I'm not actually expected to do it myself, am I? Surely?

My phone is stupid. Or maybe it's the service. I don't know. I'm on Verizon, and normally it works perfectly well. Never had any complaints with it. Until today. For some reason, my phone is showing that I have service when in fact I really don't. I can't call or text anyone, nor can anyone call or text me. Nothing goes through. Text messages fail in the sending, and the calls are lost. Very frustrated right now.

I'd go to the Verizon store here to sort it out, but it's across town, and I don't have a car. And all my roommates are gone....Argh.
