Get into a fight over something so small as asking where your pens are? You either have unreasonable roommates or I just don't understand girls.  :-[

As for my grumpiness...ever report a bug on something, only to be told it's a feature? Yeah. Happened to me twice in my life. Doesn't do much for the ole' ego. It's even worse when I don't understand what their comment means. (For the curious, I'm talking about this.)

Oh, I know it's trivial. That's why said I want to talk to them, but I don't want to fight. And the pens would be a catalyst into a fight, because the potential for one has been building this whole semester with these two particular roommates who I think are involved...Combine that with finals stress, and that's a major blowout. Over something so small as pens. Not worth it. Even if they might have lost a gift that they never asked to borrow in the first place...

Gifts from the people you cherish, no matter how small, are never trivial

The Kelowna fires.

Can see, smell, and taste smoke everywhere right now. It's like 2003 all over again.

Sucks. Good luck.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Getting laid off is no fun. :( Best.

(Grumpiness:  So smoky I can't tell what's clouds and what's smoke. And ash falling everywhere.)

Silk, would it be appropriate to say that "ash fell from the sky"?

The temperature hasn't dropped below 90 F during the day for three weeks, despite the fact that there is cloud cover. Just humid nineties and triple digits. We only come out at night.

Its 63 degres here right now, and its not getting any warmer. I went camping with my family this weekend and we had to use a heater in the tent. When we finally got home it was so cold in the house the furnace came on. It feels like we havent had a summer at all this year.

The bad: my wisdom teeth are out. The good: I'm on vicoden. This should make writing interesting!

I went swimming yesterday. In a lake. Swallowed lots of disgusting water....Didn't put enough sunscreen on. Have sunburn now. Painful to sleep last night. Will be painful to sleep tonight, I know already....Ugh.
