Then I won't get through to the next round, and won't that be a tragedy.

I think it's kinda goofy. They're just too cheap to clear the liscencing rights. ::)

It calls itself "Karaoke Star".

(I believe I used the words "excruciatingly dumb" somewhere on the last page...)

Condolences, Inquisitor.

American Idol is just karaoke. At least Karaoke Star sounds honest about it.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Taking Ookla's advice from the burgers thread I'd like to say I'm grumpy about underaged twirps who spam every thread they see activity on. ;P  Not mentioning any names but I have it on good authority they might have starred in "Oliver". Ahem!

Hey I feel better now. :D

Well, if the mods think I'm spamming, then they should ban me. But until they do, or issue me a formal warning instead of the childish, asinine swipes I usually get (I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, Ookla), I will continue to post like I do now, as I see no fault in my methods.

Current source of grumpiness: I lost two of the chapter vocabulary lists for my Spanish final, so now I have to piece together all the words from the textbook…grrr…

Sorry to hear that, Inquisitor.

*smirks* An excellent point. I was going to complain that they could have at least expended a little more creativity on their title... But it's not like the various Idol shows have particularly creative titles either. ::)

My sympathies for your sense of loss Inquisitor, but I don't know enough to know if I'm sorry it happened.  All I can say is I hope that it works out for the best for all concerned.

I was already running late to class. Why was I running late? Well, I realized as I was leaving that I had to go give my landlord $408 today or I wouldn't have a place to live come August. That in and of itself is a minor source of grumpiness.

So, I was biking to school up University Parkway. The road that I usually take over to campus (don't know what it's called, but it runs east of the Marriott Center) has been slowly and mysteriously replaced by a large trench through the efforts of a construction crew. Honestly, of all the roads they could have picked to dig up, they just had to pick the one I depend on to get to school.

Anyway, it was a minor annoyance, since I could just ride up next to the Marriott (which is BYU's basketball stadium). However, today I discovered that the construction crews weren't satisfied with this state of affairs. See, they apparently weren't satisfied that people could so easily circumnavigate their project, and decided to dig up the road in the parking lot itself, thus blocking access to the easy way around. I mean, why settle for a minor inconvenience when you could create a major one?

(I'm exaggerating, of course. Riding around the Marriott only adds a couple minutes to my commute. Why am I exaggerating? Because I'm grumpy, dadgummit!)

So, there are all these little cement blocks in the lot for cars to park against, but they have a 6" gap between them. Being late and feeling cocky, I decided to ride between the gaps. Naturally, I had a pedal down too far, which caught hard on one of the blocks. The pedals are made of metal and are pretty tough, but the impact knocked my chain off the gear. Sigh. I had to walk the rest of the way to school, making me even later.

And that's, uh, all. So I guess I don't have a huge reason to be grumpy; it's just that the little things add up, y'know?

Still, Ryos. Sucks. I'd be grumpy too.

Borrowed a video camera from someone to tape my performance on Saturday, and am having one heckuva time getting the files transferred to my computer. Still not sure I'm getting anywhere. ::)
