Cable TV is so useless

I spend far more time in front of another electronic box than the televison... in fact my computer is only inches away from my face when I sleep, so I can bask in its radioactive glow.

Now I must go kill a local business man as my master commands!

I'm not actually able to get away from this. My parent's have a dish, and my school gives me cable free (or something, probably through my room & board fees). Anywho, I've not actually been able to have the option for myself to opt out cable. But, I'll most likely not get cable when I do move into an apartment, unless I have to get some kind of package deal with it for broadband.
