Well, yes, there is, but it's a lot more fun to do such things in real time rather then waiting for replies, and it would be too much of a pain to constantly refresh.
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"

This is true... IRC? MSN? Skype? We could embed a chat into a thread... ^^
My friends held an intervention, to stop my ridiculous plans to take over the world (Jake ended up in the hospital). I convinced them to let me take over other worlds though.

I don't suffer from insanity...  I enjoy every minuet of it!

It's ok to be strange, as long as it's on paper. :)

I don't know, I actually prefer forum RPing over live RPing :P

My vote is for either msn, or else we find one of those free chat websites and set up a room for ourselves.  Password protect it and then figure out a day and time when everyone meets (If we even went through with this.)

And to each their own as far as rping.  I know those who hate "story style rps" as I call them, and others who can't stand table top d&d, dice rule everything stuff.

Ack! The thread exploded when I went to dinner!

You mean you've been asking other girls?!?!  :o

I never said that I'd proposed to other women before. I merely said I had yet to be accepted. It makes me sound like an oft-rejected playboy and all-around awesome guy! (Or I was allowing for the possibility that your response was not an acceptance.) To be honest, I wasn't even looking to get married until it just slipped out. That is the power of my love. I couldn't be unfaithful to you, my [insert rhyming lovey-dovey nickname here].

An RP would be fabulous! Let us begin at once! I mean... all at once! So we'll all be there at the same time!

I'm totally gonna be the dude that bursts through the doors at just the right moment and shouts, "I object!" and then I ride off into the sunset with bride, or something cool like that.... Then she says, "Um. . . who are you?" , and thus ends our short-lived romance.

Haha! Oh, that's classic.

Yeah, um, the thing with doing something like this on a real-time chat is you'd have to get all of us into a room at once. Getting a number of people into a room, even a virtual room, all at the same time is unconscionably difficult.

And then me knowing when to burst through the doors. . . . yeah. . .  hmm. . .  good point there, Raethe. . .

Wow it's too early for this being awake malarky.

Yeah, getting everyone in one place, what with work, school, uni, social lives, etc could be.... er.... madness?

Plus then there's always en-promptu stuff that you can't get out of.

Could be a logistic nightmare!!!

Clearly this need - for it is a need, all things such as this must have their cinematic moments - poses an entirely different set of problems.

The solution is clear - we need to get together and do this in person!

That's so far on the other side of "logistic nightmare" that it will work out perfectly.

Don't ask  me how. I say it shall be so!
