I have a bluetooth mouse that works way to well 50 feet away from my laptop. Most of the time I deal with the touchpad...

Yeah I liked the look of the Mac bluetooth one, and dont need a lot of buttons right now. My wife wants a multi for hers....

I find if I have a couple of buttons or a scroll wheel I get lazy...

I had the Microsoft intellimouse explore at a pervious job and became addicted. I now have like four or five thorughout the house. I just love this thing. It does make you dependent though. At work I'm constantly trying to click buttons that aren't there.
