Megaman 9 Box art

Despite the fact that MM 9 is going to be a download game for the wii/360/ps3, the team made some mock up box art, complete with an NES cartridge. They've been sending them to certain press reviewers and such, and are considering selling a limited quantity to the general public.  :o

Megaman was an outstanding game series. I think my favorite of them all was Megaman X for the SNES.

And I will definitely be d/l'ing this onto my 360 when it becomes available.  :)

HA HA HA. I have no band. I'm not terribly good at the game, still mucking around at Hard Mode. Can beat most of RB1 on hard (drums), but for now I've been gliding through RB2 on medium.

Drums on Hard is no joke. Its nothing to be brushed off, that aren't as easy as they look. Me and my friends have gone through many a drumstick and one replacement drumset finding this out.

I love Rock Band 1-2. My band is the Breadstick Whiplash (Name might be changing, I forget if it was taken on Xbox LIVE or not), and we're already in the Rolling Stones thingy... that Endless Set list is looking menacing right now. :( If you see Silenced Parrot on LIVE, that's me. :)

Megaman X was the only Megaman I've beaten, because it was so cool... I'll probably be picking MM9 up just so I can play through it and kill some time in between writing sessions.

And Fable 2 looks amazing, I can't wait to get my grubby little paws on it.

I got all the way up to "Don't Fear the Reaper" on hard on RB1, but the ending of that song threw me for a loop.

And today, my foot petal broke, so now I'm debating whether or not to get the custom Destroyer pedal I've been looking at, or just wait all together for the RB2 drum set. (which looks amazing, btw).

Oh yeah, and getting back to topic, any idea when MM9 is getting put in for DLC?

IGN has it slated for a December 31 release, thought further up the page it says "Release Date: TBA 2008".

So I'd expect it in 2008, probably November-December.  :-\
