The kindle is definitely overpriced for what I would use it for if I had one.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Especially now that amazon is offering an app that you can use for your iphone or ipod touch. you can do basically the same thing with the ipod plus so much more.

Is this device usable in the remote pit of hell called Sweden? Or will Mr.Blue come confiscate it?

There is NO backlighting? How am I supose to read that In the dark? :(
"it is so simple you can be a stoner to use it"
Seriously. The commercials suck, they need to ask heroin addicts to use it.
Atleast that would be interresting. ;)

Oh ther is this thing called, "kindle 2.0" that one doesnt look like a diary.
Aaaah, I can even read it IN the sunlight? Really?
YOU CAN EVEN READ IT WITHOUT READING LOL!

I am so hooked. Thanks!

Oh.. It is Illegal in Sweden.
Parafinelia, am i gettings this rights? This awesome device is ILLEGAL!? Talk about the darkages.

Sweden is so Normal and Enlightend all we need is some liqour and fat food inside our huts, To survive.
And thats all thats happens here in the Wonderland of Norrland.

Energy. Pleasure. Delusions. -LIFE ;)

My father recently got the kindle 2 and i'm pretty impressed by it... your newspaper is updated automatically everyday and you can get foriegn ones on it to. I was reading a london paper on the 10 hour drive to el paso and Thomas Hobbs book Assasins Apprentice... and it was, as said earlier, easy on the eyes i read the entire time with no problems... the biggest draw back to me is the price of a e-book on it is'nt cheaper than a paper-back and to me thats bull crap because the price of production is more or less zero...
