I was reading an article today in Writers of the Future that said you should never rewrite unless an editor orders you to--you should just always move on to new things.  I'm not sure I entirely agree, but I think there's some truth in it.  There's such a thing as beating a story to death.  Sometimes you just have to start clean.

My roommate and I actually discussed that.  We decided that flares balance out curves.  If you're a curvy person, you look better in flares because it continues the curves rather than ending in a tapered point.  If that makes any sense.

I actually never liked the George of the Jungle cartoons, but my Dad loved them and I think he's bought some of them on DVD. I always thought the laugh track was overdone, and the whole running into the tree thing was done to death.

If you want to get published, and you're an average writer, you have to keep writing new things until you get good.  That's my hope, anyway.  Not that I'm getting any writing done right now.  Why?  Because I'm talking to you people instead.  Not that I'm complaining.
