I agree with eagle, but reccomend pepper spray... having had to get sprayed with it for maritime law enforcement... it stings like a mother... for hours, and dyes the persons face with UV paint...

Its not a bad idea to pack pepper spray anyway, even if you don't go walking at midnight all the time.

When I was in Senegal, we went on this weekend trip to this little village resort place, called Saly.  The men in Senegal hit on us everywhere we went, but here they were REALLY aggressive.  Then, my teacher found out what was going on at the hotel, and we understood why.

Lol... some guys invited me and my cousin to this bar while we were in Hawaii.  We're like, we aren't even 21.  They said it didn't matter, they'd let us in anyway.  Um, no thanks.  Then some other guy came up to us and told us what kind of bar it was.

Oh, well that makes sense then.  My friend Kathleen had a fun story about going to Morocco with a similar group, and their male friends had to keep telling them the girsl were their wives to make the men leave them alone.
