Good thing about a thread, it takes care of itself. ::)

Concert? Like, christmas concert? Or rock concert?....I went to my first rock concert two months ago. It was fun.

And Ben....Monsta's kind of the one who started that....He wants something funny to read when he comes back....there hasn't been much funny stuff said so far though. I say we up the humor in here. Make it equal to last night (which will be hard, but I think we're up to the challenge...).

What kind of humor can a Mortician and a Lonely Hermit come up with?  Hmm...

I am not sure about the funny, but we can work our way back around to chocolate. And peppermint. ;) I love those two flavors together in the winter time.

So, who has the funny tonight? Wilson? Ben? Monsta? Or have we got to find the funny?

I think we've got to find the funny....I used up all my wit last night. I need to be inspired to bring it back....Otherwise I'll just have to wait for it to replenish itself, and who knows how long that'll take....

Funny has fangs?....Odd thing is, that reminds me of the snakes earlier...

EDIT: It just occurred to me why I was at least relatively funny last night. I was enlightened....Now I'm lonely. I'm all wrapped up in my lonely thoughts, and loneliness does NOT provide a good atmosphere for wit and humor to survive....

You won't be lonely long if we find the funny. :D

Yeah, its the kind of thing you can't force.  Last night it kinda just happened.

My Monty Python references are falling flat. :-[

Monty Python won't really help at this point...I can't back you up. I've still never watched it....

And yes, it's really NOT something you can force. If you force it, it's not funny anymore. It just sounds....forced. Maybe we can go back to the idea of snowboarding naked. Or should we come up with a new scenario?

Apparently I have become the word master =). Glad you all are amused by what I am creating though. I love messing with language so much.

I have had the MrPapersHead handle since I was about 16. First screen name, and then just became my handle. I have had a few others here and there. Other notable one is Tosh/Toshiru. A holdover from my City of Heroes days.

since all they'd have to do is look at your profile and see what your username is...

You underestimate the power of LAZINESS :D

The power of laziness knows no bounds!

In theory it would be awesome to make a comic about a superhero called Captain Lazy. Using his powers of Sloth to defend Truth, Justice, and the right to Nap! But the questions begs itself, would he be too lazy to fight crime?

Or maybe I'm overestimating the power of curiosity.... ;)

Undoubtedly a combination of both. ;)

As for Monty Python references, my favorite is still the Holy Grail, but they have some spectacular sketches on The Flying Circus sketch shows. :)

I also was a fan of Mr. Bean and The Black Adder. It has been a while though.

Red Dwarf is one of the more recent funnies that I have enjoyed, but even that isn't horribly recent. I started watching it about 14 years ago when my daughter was little. Timeless though, I still love the re-runs. I'm not sure if they are making new ones, I haven't taken the time to check on it.

Wow, holy cow!  You leave to take care of sick people in another city, give them the things they need and everything explodes!  When I left we were on page 39.  Now, 60-something.  Forgive me if I take a while to read through everything.
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"
