I was an aristocrat! I had wealth, status, social graces - my scandals made up the gossip of many a curious townsperson - and just look at me NOW! Forced to live in the very dregs of this society that ate me up and spat me out - nay, my friend, I envy you!

And there's your story!

They dance around my feet
They seem to say" Hayley "It's up to yooooou!"

Duel! All the cool kids are doing it!

Haha. We shall see -  I don't usually go in for the autobiographies...

And hey, if I'm a flea-ridden beggar at least they won't be expecting me to save anybody's life.

And none of those aristocratic people who brought about your ruin will recognize you...Really--who would match the scandalous aristocrat with the flea-ridden beggar? So maybe this is a GOOD thing. Then they can't go for further vengeance for gossip you might've spread, because they can't find you....

(sorry, my mind is on vengeance and revenge right now...I recently finished the count of monte cristo, which is pretty much the ultimate revenge story... and it was SO good....)

Vengeance? Nay, it is I who plans to bring about vengeance upon them! The world has laid me low, my friends, but they shall pay! Oh, how they shall pay!

...

I'll go get started on that autobiography now. What better way to spread scandalous gossip, after all?

How about some revengeance?
If it's not on fire, it's usually a software problem.

It's official--Raethe is now starting to remind me of Edmond Dantès...But that's okay. Edmond was cool.

(Should I know who that is? o.o)

Revengeance! Excellent! I like it it. It has a certain ... ring to it.

*diabolical smile*

Incidentally, Hayz, if you're planning on getting yourself killed in between now and my next 40 posts or whatever, you are totally on your own. I keep telling everyone, I'm through with this life-saving jazz.

Those sound like pretty good revengeance tools to me. As long as I'm not in their line of fire.

You keep telling everyone you're through with it, and then carry on doing it.

Who's Edmond Dantes? o.o

Edmond Dantès is the Count of Monte Cristo....he was betrayed, put in prison, escaped, and laid waste upon the 3 people who conspired against him....You should read the book. It's good.

And I guess it's a good thing I'm a hermit. With my being disconnected with society and all, I shouldn't need to be saved....Unless I somehow snowboard my way off a cliff...That could prove problematic.

And I'm totally willing to get involved in this....If you don't mind a hermit (not that I'll really be a hermit for long, and I think if you're okay with a flea-ridden beggar you oughta be okay with a hermit....)

You just let us know what you have in mind. We are here to support eachother as long as that doesn't include Chaos.

Not only was that a good book but it made a good movie aswell. I didn't read the Count until after I saw it so I like them both.

Yeah, I've neither read or seen it. I am a bad flea-ridden beggar.

Yes, join us! And we'll try to keep you away from any cliffs.

I think it was a great adaptation. There was so much material in the book, there was no way they'd be able to fit it all in a 2 hour movie.....They did one AWESOME job! It's been a long time since I've seen it, but from what I remember...

And no worries. Chaos will not find support from THIS hermit.
