Any reading suggestions???
« on: February 08, 2008, 02:33:05 PM »
I am looking to start reading a new series or stand alone story and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I'm kind of leaning towardThe Wayfarer Redemption series by Sara Douglass. Opinions anyone?

The Books Sections off the front pages lists all books that have been reviewed on this site (http://www.timewastersguide.com/deparment/Books). There's also the What Are You Reading thread (http://www.timewastersguide.com/forum/index.php?topic=3978.0). That might help.

Personally, I like Alice Borchardt's Wolf King series. The Silver Wolf, The Night of the Wolf, and The Wolf King, in that order. I also like Melanie Rawn, but can only recommend the Dragon Prince/Dragon Star trilogies. It is actually a six book series, with the focus on different characters in the same world. I don't know what you have read, but those are good.

I have heard good things about the Sara Douglass series that you mentioned, but haven't personally tried it myself yet, only because of a lack of time. I hope that helped.
