Mistborn 2 book missing pages...

So, I'd hate for anyone to get to page 530 of their nearly 590 page Mistborn 2 book and find out that they're missing 30 pages like I am. (Although, I did get two copies of page 561 to the end of the book.  Still, I don't think it an even trade.)   I don't know if errors in book binding like this come singularly.  I'm guessing that they don't.  Waldenbooks, where I got my copy, was more than happy to offer to exchange my book for another, correct one.  Brandon is even going to be signing the rest of their stock, so I don't have to make special efforts to get my new copy re-signed.  (Thanks Brandon!)  Anyhow, a heads up for the rest of you all.  And happy reading.

This is a common binding error and will often happen for a few consecutive copies. Anyone else who bought their copy from the same batch should definitely check it.

So I am not the only victim. I drove 40 minutes to get to Provo and waited 1 1/2 hours in line for the book. I've been a big fan ever since I discovered Mr. Sanderson's work last year. I been waiting with great anticipation for the Well of Ascension. I spent a couple of nights with very little sleep racing toward the climax, and then just as the Koloss seem to be getting the better of Sazed and Vin shows up to... (page 530) the book jumps thirty pages. Doh! Please, someone tell me what happened at the end! All the anticipation and time invested for naught--Oh the humanity!

I read this posting, I examined my book, and I am missing many pages as well.

I do not believe that my store had extra copies in which I could exchange.

Most any store that carries it will exchange it for you. I know for certain B&N wiill. Getting another signed copy is another matter.

Also if you can't find any stores in the area the exchange with Tor will let you mail it to them for replacement.

I will send the last 30 pages via email to anyone who writes through my website, who needs to read the pages and is missing them.  I'm sorry!  Walden is aware of this problem, and will exchange with anyone--as will Tor.  Let me know what is going on.  Did all of you get it replaced?
