Halloween's coming people. I want to run Halloween themed or at least horror/scary themed material on Friday the 29th.  Get your scary stuff submitted by the 28th.

If you don't want to do anything else, revise or make a new entry for the Staff Picks feature we ran last year.

I was going to do Halloween stuff on Friday. We dont' have articles for more Eric.

Eh, if I would have paid better attention I could have gotten some done.

Should I even bother getting the color and graphic changes done?

The book review I'm working on is a dark YA fantasy that has the climax scene on Halloween. I could have the review to you late tonight or, at latest, tomorrow afternoon.

That would save me some work, and since I'm despressed and stressed lately, I'd be happy for it.

Did you know that it's the Bunnicula 25th anniversary this year? I just snapped up a copy of the anniversary edition the other day. Too bad it's here and you're there, but the text is the same, I'm sure. Here's Neil Gaimon's blurb from the back:

Quote
Twenty-five years is a long time for a worried cat, a bemused dog, a vampire bunny, and a fridge full of terrified vegetables. Luckily Bunnicula is the kind of story that does not age, and in all probability, will never die. Or stay dead, anyway...

Just thought that was funny. This one's funnier:

Quote
As a kid, I saw the classic movie Dracula and became instantly afraid of vampires. many years later, I read the classic children's book Bunnicula. Now--in addition to vampires--I am also afraid of bunnies. I hope you're happy, Jim.--Barbara Park
