Well only a few days left and I suppose I should submit my entries for a change to win.  Some of these are fairly sure fire I think, documentary, which is why I'm choosing them.  I only need 6 correct to get me award and so I think I've got 3 guaranteed and then the other 3+ I'm taking a chance on.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role
Eddie Murphy for Dreamgirls

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role
Jennifer Hudson for Dreamgirls

Best Original Screenplay

Tomorrow is the last day to submit your guesses for the Oscar contest!  It's not hard nor does it take long (you can do it in 5 minutes) and if you get 6/10 correct you get an award you can display next to your avatar.  It's free, easy, fun and anyone can enter (there's no level requirement) so what do you have to loose?

I'd like to formally accuse Fell of cheating.  He clearly traveled forward in time and then just got two wrong on purpose, so that no one would get too suspicious.

I enjoyed watching, though--some interesting surprises.  Cars and Eddie Murphy were robbed, but such is life.  I was very happy for Scorsese.  Now I just need to go see it.

Eh, I doubt either were held at gun point and had their statue stolen.

I only got 3/10 so no award for me, though it's not surprising I haven't seen (nor do I plan on seeing) any of the films in the 10 categories we chose from.  I don't give much credence to any movie that wins either since I think these awards are just popularity contents and not based off of merit in any way shape or form, but it's fun to guess the winners on the forum.

These appear to be the tallies:

Parker: 6/10
Mustard: 6/10
DawnCawley: 2/10
TheLost24: 5/10
Fell: 8/10
Shrain: 7/10
Spriggan: 3/10

So, it looks like Fell is the big winner, and he, Parker, Shrain, and I get forum awards.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

Curses! Fell beat me by one point. Ah, well, Fell has a bigger place, so I guess Oscar will be happier there. ;)

Nice job, Fell.

I'll make the award tonight after taking the Test I've got and award them accordingly.

But now that this is over we need a new contest for awards, so if you've got any ideas hop over to the awards board and let us know.

Ha ha! I've beaten you all. And if it weren't for Norbit, I would have gotten 9/10! Curse you, Eddie Murphy.

Awards have been given, thanks too all that participated.

I might still figit with the icon, the black outline doesn't look as good as it did in photoshop so I might change it to a grey.  Also should it be 2006 on the award or 2007?
